Project:The alignment of MIC2(noise reduction microphone)acoustic gauze lamination
Background
With the improvement and upgrade of production technology, mobile phone manufacturers have elevated the quality requirements of product process. During the mobile phone production process, acoustic gauze lamination needs to aligin and fit the four materials of double-sided adhesive, dustproof gauze, acoustic gauze and bracket in order.
The traditional manual cannot achieve the high processing accuracy requirements, so the machine vision is introduced to accurately obtain the location of the materials which need to be laminated, complete the positioning and detection of the product, and convert the results into the coordinate system of the mechanical motion platform to guide the lamination work and product inspection after lamination.
Requirements
The concentricity between the four materials (double-sided adhesive, dustproof gauze, acoustic gauze and bracket) should be as same as possible with the middle hole. The concentricity is within 0.05mm. Meanwhile, the tested call volume value must meet the specification requirements.
Challenge
1) Complex material mapping relationships: Although only once calibration of the suction head is required, the materials in the tray is rectangular distributed, so a translation matrix needs to be added to the calibration matrix to guide the actual reclaiming process of the suction head.
2) Lamination space limitations: Since the MIC2 laminating space is very limited, in the laminating process of dustproof and acoustic gauze, if a misalignment occurs, the material size will be too large to be pressed into the gap inside the very little space, so there is a high requirement of the precision.
3) Through-light inspection after lamination: In order to avoid the MIC2 being blocked after lamination, which affects the call quality, it is necessary to test the light through conditions of the MIC2 to ensure that the hole is not blocked.
Solution
The acoustic gauze alignment lamination vision system integrates DAHENG IMAGING high-resolution industrial camera, lens and light source, which can obtain high-precision images, so as to complete the positioning and measurement of the object, realizing the lamination work and product testing after lamination.
Presentation
1) First laminate the double-sided adhesive, as the adhesive basis of other components, double-sided adhesive cannot block the hole, otherwise it will affect the sound quality.
2) Laminate the dustproof gauze and acoustic gauze
3) Put the component parts of the step2 onto the double-sided adhesive
4) Stick the bracket on the top
5) Through-light inspection to ensure the normal call
